Tilicho Lake Trek is one of the beautiful trekking routes in Nepal as it provides the opportunity to explore and see the wonderful Tilicho Lake, one of the highest lakes in the world. Tilicho Lake is located at an altitude of 4919 meters which is close withscenic beauty of Manang Valley, Thorong Peak and Annapurna Mountain Range. Despite its immense beauty and natural splendor, Tilicho Lake Trek is little known among the trekkers primarily due to its inaccessibility owing to the topographic location. However, despite the location and the topography, every year many tourists and trekkers visit Tilicho Lake to enjoy the beauty of the region and the grand lake that is located close to 5000 meters of height. Some of the trekking trail of the Tilicho Lake Trek coincides with the Annapurna trekking trail.
Tilicho Lake Trek starts from Beshisahar, Lamjung district’s headquarter located to the west of Nepal. Beshisahar is located some seven hours drive from Kathmandu. After a few days of walk through villages by following Marsyangdi River you reach Manag. Tilicho Lake Trek is recently opened central trek in Nepal. Tilicho Lake Trek has proved as a source of earning for those people who have run hotels and teahouses around the trekking trail. Tilicho Lake Trek is somehow alike with the topography of the famous Annapurna trekking route. It combines high peaks and passes, glaciers, lovely forests and unique Himalayas. There are lots of multicolored things that you can explore in this Trek. Tilicho Lake Trek itself is a challenging, thrilling trek and also known as one of the world’s highest Lake (4,919m). Tilicho Lake is the most beautiful region in term of bio- diversity and geographical position.

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu, Nepal/ Transfer to hotel
Arrival in Katmandu, transfer to hotel by our staff, brief about trip, and well-come dinner at evening through the typical Nepalese kitchen
Day 02: City Sightseeing day:Full day Kathmandu valley sightseeing
(Kathmandu Durbar Square, Swyambhunath, Boudhanath, Pashupatinath and Kathmandu Durbar square)
Day 03: Drive to Besisahar (830m) overnight Guest house/Lodge.
Our dynamic guide will be attaining to the Hotel early in the morning to get you then 7 hours of driving take to you Besishar. It is about 185km driving.
Day 04: Trek to Bahundanda (1310m) overnight Guest house/Lodge.
Our journey begins to Besisahar where the trail is slight climb to Khudi then after we reach the first Gurung village at Bhulbhule. Our first day introduces us to the cultural elements of Nepal, typical local house and the different faces of the various people of particular region.
Day 05: Trek to Chamje (1400m) overnight Guest house/Lodge.
The trail drops steeply to Syange at height of 1070 meters from Bahundanda crossing the Marsyangdi River on a suspension bridge. We follow and walk at edge of the river then we reach at Jagat which is really beautiful village.
Day 06: Trek to Bagarchhap (2160m)overnight Guest house/Lodge.
The trail continues up and down with getting difference experience to Tal after walking three hour. We reach the Bagarchhap that offers the typical flat roofed stone houses of local Tibetans design. The area is design by different views of Hills, up and down.
Day 07: Trek to Chame (2630m)overnight Guest house/Lodge.
Chame is the headquarters of the Manang district; it is spot fine views of Annapurna II as you approach Chame. Along this route we are introduced to a local community said to have migrated from Tibet a long time past, noticeable by their different features.
Day 08: Trek to Pisang (3300m) overnight Guest house/Lodge.
Starts through deep fine forest in a steep and narrow valley, crosses a river on a long bridge at 2910 meters. Then we cross another bridge at 3040 meters, from the spot we visible Paungda Danda rock face really begins to appear. The trail joins to climb to Pisang
Day 09: Trek to Manang (3540m)overnight Guest house/Lodge.
Leaving Pisang, we have alternate trails north and south of the Marsyangdi River which meets up again at Mungji.Ghyaru, though there are better views on the trail that follows the northern bank of the river, From Mungji.
Day 10: Acclimatization day at Manang village / overnight Guest house/Lodge.
We take rest at manang village. The village is very beautiful, cultural and surrounding by ample of mountains, peaks, rocks. We do excursion more than 5,000 meters in order to make balance of the fitness and altitude.
Day 11: Trek to Khangsar Village (3700m)overnight Guest house/Lodge.
After acclimatized at Manang we continue our adventure for Tilicho Lake, from Manang one heads out through the western gates and then one follows the path down to the river. After crossing the the Khangsar Khola on the bridge below Khangsar and ascend the slope to the village, a village still in the old Tibetan style and which is also known as last village of Nepal.
Day 12: Trekking to Tilicho Base Camp (4200m)overnight Guest house/Lodge.
The route ahead goes on a recently constructed path up towards a high ridge. At one point is an intersection. One path maintains the altitude, traversing the slopes towards a place where the valley is narrow; the other continues to ascend towards the line of the ridge.
Day 13: Trek to Tilicho Lake (5200m)overnight Guest house/Lodge.
Tilicho Lake is a cold place in the afternoon and claimed as highest lake of the world. After we spend some time around Tilicho Lake we will return same way back to Base Camp as there are no any accommodation facilities at Tilicho Lake area.
Day 14: Trek to Yak Kharka (4000m) overnight Guest house/Lodge.
Khangsar village passing through the ruins of old Khangsar and follow an unmarked trail which will lead you around and down to cross the river on an old log bridge between Gumsang and Yak Kharka
Day 15: Trek to Thorong Phedi (4450m)overnight Guest house/Lodge.
After walking approximately three and half hours on decent trail from Yak Kharka we reach on Thorong Phedi at 4450 meters situated on high and near the near the river which surrounded by snow, ice and glacier.
Day 16: Trek to Muktinath (3800m) via Thorung La pass (5416m)overnight Guest house/Lodge. We cross over at an altitude of 5416 meters Thorang Pass; we start to climb steeply down over the snow and we reach down to phedi and we take few time rest there in order to throw our tiredness then gradually we arrive at Muktinath.
Day 17: Trek to Jomsom (2720m)overnight Guest house/Lodge.
We follow the trail down and walk over the marine rocks on river shore of the Kaligandaki to Jomsom. Jomsom is headquarter of the Mustang district.
Day 18: Jomsom to Pokhara / overnight stay at Hotel.
Around 35 minutes of your flight travel you will be at Pokhara. Half day sightseeing tour around Pokhara valley.
Day 19: Drive back to Kathmandu / overnight stay at Hotel.
